Mission Peak

Temple,

Rise above the valley,

Rise to the height of the clouds.

Be our Olympus,

Our godly home where

The low, mean gods of the valley

Dare not go.

Be our Arcadia,

Emerald and gold,

Onyx and opal,

The home to our wanderings.

Temple,

For what else could you be?

We crawl to you on hands and knees.

We climb to your Kaaba.

We look down on the dry land and

The gathering of the waters,

The day and the night,

Every moving creature,

And we call it all good.
